No wall space for a BlumSafe? No problem. The BlumSafe Secure Armoire is a beautiful, well-crafted armoire for your bedroom or anywhere in your home — tall doors on top, three drawers below—until you open the doors. Inside one (or both) of those doors sits a fully equipped BlumSafe, securely mounted and ready to secure your watches, jewelry, firearms, and other valuables.
Built to order and quality American-made by Amish craftsmen, the Secure Armoire safe is available in a range of wood finishes, with a single safe or two safes side-by-side. An optional swing-out concealment shelving unit adds a second layer of security and more shelf storage. Installation in fifteen minutes – attach it to a wall with included hardware, insert and attach safe into pre-drilled holes, and plug it in.
With tons of storage space, how can your “significant other” say “NO” to this beautiful and useful piece of furniture?
Start your order now and see what it would look like!
We offer five standard stain finishes in three woods. However, the Secure Armoire lives in your bedroom or dressing room, and it needs to belong there. Here are three ways we can help you get the right custom finish:
For a true match to your furniture, we need an actual wood sample — a drawer front you can unscrew works perfectly. Don’t worry, we’ll return it unharmed. You’d ship it directly to our partner. We charge a $200 deposit upfront ($100 is refundable when you place your order). Any upcharge for the custom stain or wood itself is added at order time.
Can’t send a sample, or just want to get in the ballpark? Browse the Ohio Collection stain guide and tell us which colors look close. We’ll have physical wood samples drop-shipped to you — $10 per sample. It’s a great way to narrow things down before committing.
We keep sample sets of all the standard woods and stains we offer — maple, cherry, and walnut. We’ll lend you a set for a $75 refundable deposit. Return the samples and your deposit comes right back.
Contact Us and we’ll help you figure it out.
Why We Built It
BlumSafes are deeper than standard wall safes — designed for watch winders, jewelry drawers, and serious storage — and that depth requires installation in certain wall configurations or built-in cabinetry. For years, customers have told us they love BlumSafes but their house situation doesn’t easily facilitate installation. The Secure Armoire solves that problem. It is a beautiful piece of furniture that arrives ready to proudly place in your bedroom or living room, provides lots of clothing storage (in addition to holding your BlumSafe(s)), and can move with you easily to your next home without making a hole in the wall. Place the armoire in your bedroom or dressing room and you are set.
How It Works
A high quality, beautiful armoire – until you open it. Opening one door of the Armoire reveals a steel door or display door BlumSafe — watch winders turning, jewelry shelves accessible, a shelf available for a firearm or other valuables. The other side of the armoire reveals a clothing bar or adjustable shelves (your choice), or a second BlumSafe for those who need maximum secure storage.
Optional Concealment Shelf Unit — A Second Layer of Security
For those who want an ingenious second layer of concealment, we offer an optional concealment hinged shelf unit that sits in front of the safe inside the armoire. The shelf looks like an ordinary unit for shirts, towels, whatever— and it is — until you use the included magnetic key on the edge of the shelf to release the latch and swing it open, revealing the BlumSafe behind it (you can disable the magnetic lock, if you wish). This optional unit means that someone who opens the armoire door will see clothes, not a safe. This concealment unit is not foolproof, but it WILL fool plenty of burglars making a quick pass through your home. And it provides more storage space, too.
Craftsmanship & Customization
Like all BlumSafe furniture products, the Secure Armoire is built to order by skilled cabinet makers — proud Amish carpenters in Ohio. It is constructed of quality hardwoods with dovetailed drawer joints and available in a range of standard woods and finishes to go with your other furniture. Custom woods, stains, and colors also available Wood legs (wood color or painted to match your door hardware) or plinth base. Door hardware is available in brushed gold, brushed nickel and flat black, and handles in two different styles. We can also fit for other hardware YOU provide, perhaps to go with your existing bedroom furniture — contact us.
And if you want to make it easy and need a matching bedroom set – we offer that option, as our partner in this project specializes in bedroom set furniture — Contact us.
Inside The BlumSafe
You can configure the Armoire with either the Steel Door BlumSafe (solid steel door, maximum discretion) or the Display Door BlumSafe (tough, 1/2” thick polycarbonate window so you can view your collection while the safe is locked, with optional Smart Glass for instant opacity). Inside either safe, configure BOXY® Brick or BLDC winders, jewelry drawers, manual watch display shelves and plain shelves exactly as you would on our standalone safe product pages. All winder and drawer options from the BlumSafe product line are available.
Delivery & Setup
The Secure Armoire ships by truck fully assembled with minimal installation necessary – attach it to the wall for security and safety, insert and attach the safe to the cabinet and plug it in. You can set this up in 15 minutes. Delivery is typically 9-10 weeks after order finalization; custom color orders may take longer.
Note: Due to ongoing improvements, minor details may vary from photos. Safe interiors and winder counts may have minor updates from time to time.
No. The Secure Armoire is a freestanding furniture piece that requires no wall cutting or installation. You position the armoire in your room, attach it to the wall behind it in one of two manners for anti-tip protection and security (like anchoring any tall piece of furniture), place the safe into the armoire and bolt it into pre-drilled holes, plug it into a wall outlet, and you are done.
Eight included bolts — four on each vertical side wall of the safe compartment — attach the BlumSafe directly to supports mounted on the walls of the armoire cabinet.
The optional concealment shelving unit sits in front of the BlumSafe inside the armoire. From inside the armoire, it looks like a shirt-storage shelf — which it is. A magnetic key (included, but can be disabled by user) releases a concealed latch on the left edge of the shelf unit, allowing the entire shelf to swing open on a concealed hinge and reveal the safe behind it. This means that even if someone opens the armoire door, they see shelves for clothing — not a safe. The magnetic key is the only way to open the shelf unit; it has no visible handle or lock.
Yes. You can choose to have a BlumSafe on one side and a clothing bar or shelves on the other, or a BlumSafe on both sides. Note that only one concealment shelf unit can be used in the Armoire, so if you get a BlumSafe on both sides, only one side can be concealed with this shelving, the other side will be exposed behind the armoire door.
The Secure Armoire is designed to hold the standard Steel Door BlumSafe or Display Door BlumSafe — the same models available on our main safe product pages. The Display Door BlumSafe has a polycarbonate window so you can view your watches, collectible cards while the safe door is closed, and is available with the Smart Glass option (instantly opaque on command). Contact US if you’d like to use the Blumsafe Professional Junior with the Armoire configuration – we don’t offer it as a standard configuration, but it will work as long as you do NOT select the optional concealment shelf unit (it will not fit behind that unit).
When the armoire door is open, yes — the Display Door BlumSafe’s polycarbonate window lets you view your collection clearly. When the armoire door is closed, the safe is behind the armoire door and not visible. If you add the Smart Glass option to your Display Door safe, you can toggle the window between clear and opaque using a button, so you can admire your collection whenever the armoire door is open without worrying about the window revealing anything when you prefer privacy.
Yes. The BlumSafe interior is fully modular. You can add winders, swap winders for jewelry drawers or shelves, or rearrange the configuration at any time — the same as with our standalone wall safe products. Winders are removable and can be used outside the safe with an optional power adapter.
Yes. Standard finishes include dark maple, cherry, walnut, painted black, and painted white. Custom paint colors, wood stains, and custom woods are also available — contact us for a quote and lead time. Custom color orders typically add four weeks to delivery.
Yes. We offer two types of standard hardware options, both in black, champagne gold, and brushed nickel. We can also fit the armoire for hardware you provide — contact us before placing your order to discuss specifications
No. The Secure Armoire is its own complete concealment solution and does not require an external Screen or Mirror — the armoire itself is the concealment.
The power cable routes from the winder power adapter inside the safe, through the bottom or back wall of the cabinet, and out through a pre-cut opening behind the bottom drawer. You plug this cable into a standard wall outlet positioned behind or near the armoire.
They solve a similar problem — both bring the BlumSafe experience to customers who don’t want to or can’t install a safe in their wall or closet cabinetry — but they work very differently. The Concealment Cabinet uses a motorized TV lift to raise the BlumSafe out of the cabinet on command, and is a smaller tabletop-height piece. The Secure Armoire is a full-height bedroom armoire; the safe is mounted inside behind the door and accessed by simply opening the armoire door. The Secure Armoire offers significantly more storage (three drawers, clothing bar or shelves), a larger footprint, and a more conventional appearance. The Concealment Cabinet is the more dramatic, James Bond experience; the Armoire is the more traditional, furniture-first approach, and is also less expensive due to the absence of the lift.
Yes. The Secure Armoire cabinet is built to order by skilled Amish cabinet makers in Ohio. The BlumSafe inside is also American-made in North Carolina. BOXY® winders, safe drawers and other accessories which are installed inside the safe, are foreign-manufactured in a democracy (Taiwan).
Delivery is typically 8-10 weeks from order. Custom color orders may take longer. We will confirm your estimated delivery window after order placement.
The shipping pricing charged at checkout is just a good faith estimate and will vary depending upon your delivery details. We will contact you after your order is submitted to make any pricing adjustments based on your delivery details. As background, the typical US price range for residential curbside/driveway delivery on a pallet is roughly $400-650, depending upon your location, but if White Glove delivery is chosen, adding individual factors like a lift gate requirement, inside delivery or taking it upstairs often can cost up to an additional $300 approximately, not including certain urban surcharges (e.g., approximately $75 in New York City and Los Angeles). Accordingly, we ask that in the Notes field at Checkout you try to describe your delivery requirements so we can come to an accurate final price (we do NOT make money on delivery, this is all pass-through cost).
Because different customers have different delivery requirements (i.e., more or less expensive, higher or lower level of service, differing locations), we find this process to be fairer to you than to do what most retailers do, and simply embed a maximum, “one size fits all” delivery price into the purchase price of the product (no, you are never getting delivery for free).
The Secure Armoire arrives fully assembled, just needs attachment to wall (one of two ways) and insert the safe, turn 8 screws. No carpentry or wall cutting is required. Setup typically takes 15–30 minutes.
