The viewing panel is not traditional glass. It is ⅜” thick, tough polycarbonate — the same type of material used in bank teller windows. It is highly impact-resistant and includes UV protection to help shield leather goods, sneakers, and other sensitive materials from sun damage.

You can also upgrade to the Smart Glass film, which allows the display window to turn opaque or clear on command through an app or voice assistant. This gives you the flexibility to enjoy the display when you’re present while maintaining privacy when you’re not.

Yes. Anchoring to a wall, cabinet structure, or floor is required for proper security performance. All necessary anchoring hardware is included. The cabinet weighs approximately 175 pounds and ships on a pallet.

Because delivery needs vary by location and level of service, shipping costs are calculated based on your specific situation. Curbside delivery typically ranges from $400–$650 within the U.S., with optional White Glove services available for inside placement or stairs.

Definitely. Polycarbonate is a strong plastic that is up to 2,000 times stronger than glass to breakage. The ⅜” thick, scratch resistant polycarbonate window used in the Secure DIsplay Cabinet provides a wholly different level of protection when compared to glass or flimsy plexiglass or acrylic. These windows can withstand repeated hammer and ax blows, making a quick attack without power tools a losing proposition. This is why we also use a more secure, reinforced multipoint locking mechanism mentioned above – such security would be wasted, pointless, on a glass window application, but not on this one.

A neutral 4000K LED light provides a clean, natural, “daylight”  tone that works well across a wide range of materials, from metals and glass to leather and textiles.
